The bar chart shows the percentage of house ownership type from young adults aged 25 to 34 in the UK.

Overall, the trend of people have their own home saw a gradual decrease with a not significant fluctuation and the percentage of renters change in the opposite way across the year. This show in more contemporary era, people tend to choose renting as the way of housing.

In the starting point, 2004, the majority of the respondents own their private accomodation with roughly 60 percents of them having this type of housing. In contrast, there were only one fifth of them rented their place. In the next 2 years, while the proportion of house-owner decrease slightly, the number of renters is climbing, but this still does not change the fact that more people is entitled to their own resident.

After a slight increase in the year of 2007, the number of house owner always went down until the end of observartion. However, the percentage of renters rose gradually resulting there were more renters than owners in the year of 2013 until 2014.
