The bar graph displays data about the yearly income of doctors and other professionals in seven different countries in the year 2004, measured in thousands USD.
Overall, doctors earned considerably more money than other workers in all countries given in the chart. It is also obvious that United States headed the list in terms of both doctors’ and other workers’ income. In comparison, the Republic of Czech ranked in last place.
Looking at the details, regarding the amount of earnings made by doctors, USA came top of the list, with around $140000 was paid to them. Germany was next on the list at roughly $113000, just ahead of Switzerland and Canada at $110000 and $105000 respectively. The amount of salary for doctors in Finland was nowhere near as high as the figure for France at approximately $55000 and $85000 in turn. Bottom of the list was Czech Republic , with only $40000 paid to doctors.
If we look at the figures for other professionals, US and Switzerland ranked in the first place, at well above $40000 . This was closely followed by Germany, France, Finland and Canada which allocated the same amount of money ($30000) to other workers. In terms of earnings of other professionals as well, Czech Republic came in the last place at $30000.
