The table compares how much doctors and workers earned annually in seven different countries in 2004.
Overall, it is discernable that there was a substantial gap between the yearly wages of two categories, with doctors consistently making the higher income. While both doctors and other workers earned in the most in The United states, the opposite was true for them in Czech Republic. Notably, the annual pay that workers made in Canada, Finland, France and Germany was relatively equal.
In terms of Switzerland and United states, while other workers only made around over 40 thousand of dollars, doctor had a considerably higher wage, with the figure being approximately 110 thousands for the former and 145 thousands for the latter, which was the highest of the chart. Conversely, both earned the least in Czech Republic, as the incomes were merely under 20 thousands for other workers and doubled for doctors.
Regarding the four other nations, other workers’ wages in these countries were comparatively equal, which were about 30 thousands. In Germany and Canada, doctors also made a similar amount (around 110 thousands), ranking among the highest, whereas, with the same job in Finland and France, they only made around 55 and 85 thousands, being among the lowest income groups of doctors and only surpassing Czech Republic.
