The presented stacked bar graph compares the educational grades of the five different age group in Glasgow city of Scotland in 2010, while the two pie charts compare three educational levels by gender irrespective of any ages.
Overall, it can be seen that the majority of population below fifty years of age have the University degree, and the most of the elderly people seemed to lack any qualifications. The number of male citizens who are unqualified, hold school certificate,or those with the university degree are present in relatively same number, whereas a slightly higher proportion of unqualified female was seen.
Regarding the classification of educational level by age group, more than two- third of the population from 16 years of age to 50 years of age acquires the University degree; about 20 % holds only schools level. Likewise, 9% of them were deprived of any educational skills. A half of the total population aged 50 – 75 year held the University degree while 72% of elderly citizen were unqualified.
In case of educational qualification by gender composition, relatively higher males (35%) had no educational competence than one-third of population with the University degree and School certificate (32%). Female being considered, the proportion was fairly similar with uneducated proportion being 38% followed by 33% of the University degree holders, and 29% of School certificate holders.
