Overall, no qualifications peaked noticebly among the elderly, whereas university graduates dominated younger and middle-aged demographics. Regarding gender, the proportion of unqualified women was higher, university graduates showed the opposite trend, and school certificate holders were equally distributed.
Looking first at the bar chart showing education levels by age groups, all education levels were represented across all age brackets, individuals. More specifically, individuals having no qualifications comprised the largest share among senior citizens are more than 75 years old at approximately 72%, while those aged 50-75 and below 50 made up around 30% and 9% respectively. By contrast, the percentage of university degree represented the largest segment among younger and middle-aged people. The data reaveals more than 70% in 16-24, 24-35 and 35-50 bracket, while the figure for 50-75 group was about a half of the total. Finally, the proportion of school certificate holders was approximately one-fifth each, except those aged more than 75 stooding at 3%.
Turning to the pie chart giving illustrating education levels by gender, women generally had lower qualifications than men. Women having no qualification accounted for 38% whereas unqualified men made up 35%. The percentage of univesity degree among women stood at 29%, while the figure for men was higher at 32%. The proportion of school certificate holders among both women and men were the same at 33%.
