The bar chart illustrates how many social networking sites people in Canada used in a one-year period from 2014.
Most people just used one site; this figure had the biggest proportion all the time. In contrast, people who used five social networking sites had the lowest percentage in the period.
For the most part, they did not use social networking and used about 1 to 2 sites. They accounted for 81% in 2014 and 73% in 2015. People who did not have a social networking site and had 2 sites fluctuated 1% in one year. While the figure for one site used witnessed a significant decrease, it declined from 36% to 28%.
Besides, the proportion of people who use more than two sites accounted for 19% in 2014 and increased dramatically to 28% after 1 year. The percentage of people using three sites and four sites saw a slight growth of just 4% and 3%. Although people using five sites had the smallest percentage, they experienced the most significant change when it doubled in 1 year.
