The bar graph illustrates the volume of social networking sites utilized by internet users in Canada between 2014 and 2015.
Overall, the percentage of individuals using more than one site exhibited significant growth, while the figures for those visiting no site slightly declined by 2015. Especially, the proportion of users visiting one site consistently carried the highest value, whereas only a small fraction of the survey accessed five websites in the period.
In 2014, the ratio of people who used one social platform occupied 36%-more than one-third of the total; however, this figure saw a considerable decline, dropping to 28% by 2015. Conversely, the number of individuals who visited two websites rose marginally, increasing from 23% to 24%. Meanwhile, those who used three platforms showed a sharp surge, climbing steadily from around 12% to 16% (approximately one-sixth of the overall).
The proportion of people who did not use any social networking sites accounted for over one-fifth of internet users and then fell to 20% in 2015. Similarly, the proportion of Canadians using four or five social networking sites remained relatively low, rising from 5% and 2% to 8% and 4% in 2015, respectively.
