In London, most people visited for holidays, about 50%. Business trips were also high, around 40%, while visiting friends and other purposes were under 20%. In Edinburgh, the main reason was for business, which was the highest at 70%. Holiday visits were only 30%, and the other two reasons were not popular, both less than 20%.
For Manchester, the numbers were more similar. Holiday and business were both about 30%, and visiting friends was close to 20%. In Birmingham, most people came for business, about 60%, while holiday and visiting friends were around 20%.
Finally, Liverpool was different, with holidays being the most common reason for visits, about 40%. Business trips were 30%, and visiting friends was just over 20%. Other reasons stayed the lowest in all cities.
