The line graph compares vehicle production time by four US-based car manufacturers from 1998 to 2002.
Overall, the figure for Nissan, DC and GM increased through the time shown, whereas, those for Ford witnessed a reverse trend. Notably, a significant decline was recorded in the number of Nissan, revealed in its reordered place.
The figure for DC, which started at 34 hours per vehicle, decreased drastically before experiencing a slight lift from 1999 to 2001. After the soaring trend, its number once more fell down in the rest of the period and finally stood at 28 hours in 2002. A gradual reduction was recorded in case of GM when there was a straightforward shift by 10 hours from 32 hours in 1998. It was worth considering that Nissan from the manufacturer with the most time producing a vehicle surprisingly became the one with lowest figure, shown in the dramatical dip to only 21 hours, reordering all places of the list.
The opposite pattern was true for the number of Ford when it first stood at around 25 hours per transport but quickly rose and surpassed Nissan and GM respectively in 1999 and 2000. As a final point, it stood at 26 hours, second to DC
