The chart illustrates some of the most urgent problems people residing in UK cities were coping with in 2008.
Overall, Health services and educational training were by far the most reported in every city while air pollution was not imperative in many. Health services were the leading issue in every city except London and Glasgow. The problem was reported by around 50% in all cities and the figures even skyrocketed to almost 60% in Belfast and Cardiff. Education and training was a serious problem of the same proportions as Health services, reported by more than 40% of residents in each city.
Unlike the other two issues, air pollution was not a big problem, with the lowest percentage in Newcastle of around 5%, the figures for this problem barely reached under 10% in the majority with some exceptions like Manchester where it was reported by over 15% of people, around one-third the amount of report on health services.
