Overall, the telephone had higher percentages in both years rather than other goods, while microwave and CD player users showed similar proportions with telephone in 2008. Mobile phone, internet, and dishwasher were the lowest percentages in 2001, but these goods users increased in 2008.
Looking at the details, the telephone figure had the largest proportion; it accounted for around 95% in 2001, with telephone,microwave and CD player users contributing similar numbers, at 90% in 2008. In 2001, microwave and CD player users demonstrated lower numbers than telephone, the former made up 70% and the latter decreased by 10%, it was 60%. Then, mobile phone usage was around 25% in 2001, while in 2008 it significantly increased to 80%.
Regarding the other goods, the home computer accounted for 35% in 2001, and in 2008 it was 65% users. Apart from that, the clothes dryer’s figure in 2001 and the internet’s figure in 2008 demonstrated a similar proportion, around 60%. So, clothes dryer was 70% in 2008, while the internet users was the lowest proportion in 2001, it made up 10%. Lastly, dishwasher users contributed 20% in 2001, and in 2008 it rose by 30%, to 40%.
