The bar graph given compares eight different items based on the percentage of households from 2001 to 2008, at 7- year intervals.
Looking at the illustration, it is immediately evident that telephone recorded the highest figure in all years, whereas the opposite was true for dishwasher in common household items. Additionally, most items show an overall upward trend, except for telephones. It is also notable that Internet access did not appear in the statistics in 2001, then it was first started in 2001 and recorded at a significant level.
In 2001, the percentage of households item with telephones dominated the chart at approximately 95%, which was 15% higher than microwave. The CD player ranked third at 70%, followed by clothes dryer at 60%. The home computer at mele 35%, while mobile phone and dishwasher came in last at 25%, 20%, respectively.
By 2008, three items are telephone, microwave and CD player dominated all in the chart at 90%. I can see the mobile phone was sharply increase and ranked fourth at 80%, followed by clothes dryers also gradually increase, but in just at 70%. The chart shows home computers grew significantly at approximately 65%, and internet access although appear later but it grew significantly to ranked seventh at 60%. The dishwasher grew subtantially but also continued the last in popular.
