The pie charts compare the five different kind of energy production in France between 1995 and 2005.
Overall, the percentage of coal produced the highest energy in both years .While gas increased slightly and remained the second highest producer. In contrast, petrol decreased significantly, whereas the reverse was true for nuclear and other energy sources, with other types of enegy seeing a more increase.
In 1995, coal was the most common source of energy in the France at 29.80%. By 2005, this figure grew slightly to 30.93% and remained the highest producer. At the same time, gas was showed an upward trend accounted for 30. 31% of energy source in 2005 and became the second highest kind of energy. Meanwhile, petroleum and other kind of energy sorced experienced a rising trend to 10.10% and 9.10% respectively at the end of the period.
In contrast, petrol was the third the highest producer at 29.27% in 1995. This figure had dropped to 19.55% and remained its third the highest type of energy in 2005
