Overall, in initial years Portugal has reached the greatest percentages than other countries, whereas, UK had the lowest proportion of spendings throughout the period.
in 1990, Italy reached 20% of spendings to improve roads and transport condidtions. However that figure decreased to just above 15% in the next 5 years. By the early years of the 21st century, Italy had the lowest expenditures of its period, with around 13%, showing small increasing to just under 15% by the end of the period. Although, Portugal had the highest percentages of spendings, the figures started to decrease over the period. In 1990, Portugal reached the highest percenteges, with around 27%. Before, decreasing significantly to just above 15% in 2005, firtsly, it declined to 20% in 1995 and to 17% in 1995.
The UK and USA illustrated significantly low percentages than other 2 countries, starting with 11% and 13% respectively. Although, the spendings for UK increased to 13%, figures for USA declined to around 11%. While UK had significant decreasing to 6% by the next decade, USA showed small increasings to around 13%-12% by 2005.
