The bar chart compares the amount of money spent on five different categories namely cars, computers, books, perfume and cameras by two countries in the UK and France in the year of 2010.
Overall, it is clear that the highest amount of money was spent on cars in both countries the Uk and France, whereas the figure for perfume was lowest in the same year.
In terms of spending, two countries spent their highest amount of money on cars, at 450,000 in the Uk and 400,000 in France respectively in 2010. In the same year, the amount of money spent on cameras was approximately 370,00 pounds which was higher than the Uk at, 350,000 pounds. For buying books the Uk’s people spent just above 400,000 pounds whereas the people of France spent only 300,000 pounds.
For the remaining categories, 200,000 pounds was spent by the Uk’s people on perfume, but in France they spent less than 150,000 pounds in 2010. On the other hand, Britain people bought cameras spending 350,000 pounds which was more than double France at, 150,000 pounds.
