The chart above illustrates the difference in price range of houses located in five distinct cities over a period of 12 years in comparison to standard price in 1989.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that Tokyo has reached to a significant amount of high price range all over the world. Whereas, the other cities like New York, Madrid and Frankfurt have made changes to rose up their values in a steady manner.
From 1990 to 1995 cities like New York, London and Tokyo were at receding rates and having a loss of approximately 10 times their real price values. Tokyo being the highest to decline at about 8 times lower with London and New York being the next in line. However, Madrid and Frankfurt were at stability to have a profit value of about two times higher than their real prices.
In comparison to the era of 1996 to 2002 Tokyo resurged to a magnificent value and reached to 10 times more value than their previous ones. New York and Madrid followed with the slight increase to almost doubling the price to 5 times more whereas, Frankfurt fell back a little to almost 1 times of its value. However, London had the least amount of amendment made to it probably because of its least demand in the world for accommodation.
