It is clear that the data on fitness membership among Thai males and females witnessed a significant fluctuation over 30 years. Additionally, both genders had the highest demand for fitness membership in 2010.
In 1985, the number of Thai male fitness members stood at approximately 2100, while the figure for females was only around 1200 members. In the next five years, the number of man members increased significantly to 3800 before experiencing a gradual fall by 2000 people in 2000. Meanwhile, there was a slight fluctuation around 2000 in the number of women fitness participants between 1990 and 2000.
As can be seen from the graph, the number of Thai male fitness members rose significantly and reached a peak of 5000 in 2010 before hitting its lowest point of 1000 members in 2015. the data on female fitness particaipants witnessed a fall to 2100 in 2005, but later reached the peak of approximately 3000 members in 2010. At the end of the period, in 2015, the figure for female fitness members declined to 2000, which was two times higher than that of males.
