The bar chart compares the amount of money spent on six different products in three European countries in the year of 2015.
It is clear that the highest amount of money was spent on smartphones and laptops in the three countries. By contrast, the amount of money spent on CDs was the lowest in each country.
In the terms of smartphones, consumer expenditure was higher in the Germany than in Italy and Spain at about 140,000 pounds,around 138,000 pounds and 120000 pounds, respectively. The people of Germany also spent more money on books, at almost 110000 pounds than the people of Italy and Spain, at approximately 90000 pounds and just under 100000 pounds. Moreover, Germany spent more money on the internet than others two countries (Italy,Spain),at 100000 pounds,80000 pounds and just over 80, 000 pounds respectively.German people spent around 110,000 pounds on toys, while Italian people spent close to 70,000 pounds, and Spanish people spent 100,000 pounds.
On the other hand, spending on the rest of the item was higher in Italy, while almost 130000 pounds was spent on laptops in Italy, the figure for the Germany was nearly 128, 000 pounds and Spain was approximately 104,000 pounds. The amount of money spent on CDs was 40,000 pounds in Spain,almost 38,000 pounds in Italy and roughly 30 pounds in the Germany.
