It is evident that the highest expenditures occurred in all three European countries. In contrast, the lowest amounts were spent on CDs across these countries.
In terms of smartphones, consumer spending was higher in Germany and Italy compared to Spain, with expenditures at just under 140 thousand and 120 thousand pounds, respectively. Germans also spent more on books, totaling around 110 thousand pounds, which is higher than the approximately 90 thousand pounds spent by Italians and the roughly 100 thousand pounds spent by Spaniards.
Germany’s expenditure on perfumes was also greater than that of Italy and Spain, with figures of 100 thousand, 80 thousand, and just over 80 thousand pounds, respectively. Additionally, Germans spent almost 110 thousand pounds on toys, significantly more than the approximately 70 thousand pounds spent by Italians.
Conversely, spending on other items was higher in Germany and Italy. Both countries spent about 130 thousand pounds on laptops, whereas Spain’s expenditure was 100 thousand pounds. The amount spent on CDs was approximately 30 thousand pounds in Germany and nearly 40 thousand pounds in Italy.
