The bar chart illustrates the average annual salary per full-time employee in six different sectors of jobs, while table provides information about the average income for sectors in one country over a ten-year period between 2000 and 2010.
Overall, most of the working areas showed upward trends, except tourism which experienced slight downfall. In both of the years, people working in Financial Services got highest salary whereas average annual income of employees working in Tourism has always been the lowest. In contrast, average salary for all sectors showed increasing results.
Regarding to the income of Financial Services, the income increased from about 110,000$ in 2000 to approximately 130,000$ by 2010. The same trend was followed by Transport and Retail/Shops workers, with the former growing from about 45,000$ to 55,000$, and the letter rising from 39,000$ to 50,000$ in ten-year period. Administration employees’ yearly earnings also increased, but only from approximately 44,000$ to 45,000$, while the income of Tourism section decreased from 20,000$ in 2000 to about 19,000$ in 2010.
In terms of average yearly salary for all workers, the money rose by 6,000$ from 44,000$ to 50,000$ throughout the period.
