The pie charts compare how satisfied undergraduates and postgraduates were with three facilities at a UK university in 2007.
Overall, most students were satisfied with all three facilities. Postgraduates were happiest with the cafeteria, while undergraduates were happiest with the school facilities.
Looking at school rooms, both groups gave very similar answers. Around 62% of undergraduates and 63% of postgraduates were very satisfied, and a further 13% and 14% were quite satisfied. About a quarter of each group was not satisfied (25% and 23% respectively).
The cafeteria showed the biggest difference between the two groups. Almost three-quarters of postgraduates (73%) were very satisfied, compared with just over half of undergraduates (52%). Postgraduates were also much less likely to be unhappy, at 11% against 26% for undergraduates.
For school facilities, undergraduates were more positive. While 52% of them were very satisfied, the figure for postgraduates was lower at 43%. Only 14% of undergraduates were not satisfied, compared with 25% of postgraduates. The share of “quite satisfied” students was almost the same in both groups, at 34% and 32%
