Overall, it is clear that both the youngest and oldest people spent a great amount of time on watching TV channels. Furthermore, teenagers and adolescents spent the least time on relaxing and thinking, while exercises and recreation were activities which were the least favourite among the oldest people.
In 2015, on average, 4.5 hours per day was spent by oldest people on activities such as watching TV, while among people who are between 15 and 19 years old, on average, it was just under 2.5 hours per day. Of note, among senior citizens of the USa, on other activities, such as reading, relaxing, communicating, playing games, and sport activites, on average, was spend under 1 hour per day, except watching TV channels.
Among teenagers, on average, less than 0.5 hour was spent on reading and relaxing, while they spent above 0.5 hour per day on socializing and doing exercises. It should be noted that the time which was spent on computer games were twofold more among adolescents than among the oldest people.
