The line graph compares four different mobiles, Domo, Lex, Sim TX, and Alpha, in terms of the average cost of a monthly contract in a European country between January and September 2002. Figures are given in euros.
Overall, all mobiles experienced an upward trend, with the exception of Sim TX. Notably, the most dramatic growth has been witnessed in Alpha over the period.
Starting with Domo, it started at 15, before fluctuating between 15 and 20 from January to May 2002. Domo levelled off until June, when it began to rise gradually to 25 and reached its peak in July. It then edged down, declining consistently to about 23 at the end of the interval. Similarly, Alpha witnessed a fluctuation between 5 and approximately 13, after remaining stable. In August, it soared to 25, surpassing Domo.
When it comes to Lex, it also showed a similar pattern, unlike Sim TX, which followed a downward trend. Despite a slight dip between January and February, Lex bounced back to approximately 13. It then stayed the same before fluctuating to just above 15 in July, when it stabilised at a consistent level until August. At the end of the interval, it rose to approximately 17. After falling from slightly less than 10 to roughly 7, Alpha rebounced and increased to slightly more than 10. In April, it stayed static before climbing considerably to around 14 in June; then it plunged to about 7 by the end of the period.
