Overall, there was an increase in the amount of money given to social welfare, health, wildlife, and arts, while the amount of money allocated for the environment declined. In addition, the donation to social welfare was highest throughout the period.
The number of donations for health started at about 6 million in 2012, after which it witnessed a rise to approximately 7 million in 2013, before ending the period at 9 million. Similar changes can be seen in the figure for contribution to wildlife and art, which grew from about 3 million to 5 million and from 3 million to 4 million.
Turning to the other categories, about 23 million was donated to social welfare by one company in 2012, with the subsequent considerable drop to 16 million in 2013 and finally reaching a peak at 24 million in 2014. By contrast, the figure for donations to the environment was 6 million in 2012, followed by a decrease to 7 million in the final year. The number of donations to education remained at this level towards the end of the period.
