The given chart illustrates the amount of money that was spent on donations to six different types of charities, namely social welfare, education, environment, health, wildlife, and arts, by a company in three years from 2012 to 2014.
Overall, the figures of the donations in 2014 were highest in almost all the domains, except in education and environment. Besides, while the contributions to social welfare were received the largest share of donations over the period, the fund of wildlife and arts witnessed the least financial support.
Social welfare consistently dominated the donations. Starting at around 22,000 dollars in 2012, the figures experienced a slight dip to approximately 18,000 dollars in 2013 before recovering to just under 25,000 dollars in 2014. Additionally, the health-related charities witnessed a gradual growth in the company’s participation, which increased by 2,000 dollars from around 6,000 dollars in 2012 to nearly 8,000 dollars in 2014.
As regards the environmental and educational donations, there clearly demonstrated a moderate fluctuation in the amount of funding. The donations to education and the environment were both around 8,000 dollars in 2012, decreasing to roughly 5,000 dollars by 2013 before recovering to approximately 8,000 dollars in 2014. Moreover, the contributions to wildlife funding remained on an uptrend over the period, from around 3,000 dollars in 2012 to roughly 5,000 dollars in 2014. As for the arts, they received the least support, starting and remaining about 3,000 dollars in the first two-year period before negligibly increasing to around 5,000 dollars in the last year.
