The image features a bar chart titled "Causes of Worldwide Land Degradation" with a vertical axis labeled "Percentage of Degraded Land" (ranging from 0 to 12 in increments of 2) and a horizontal axis labeled "Cause" with four categories: Over-grazing, Deforestation, Over-cultivation, and Other. The legend titled "Legend" includes three regions: North America, Europe, and Oceania. Data values per category and region are as follows: for Over-grazing, North America is approximately 1.5%, Europe is 5.5%, and Oceania is 11.3%; for Deforestation, North America is 0.2%, Europe is 9.8%, and Oceania is 1.7%; for Over-cultivation, North America is 3.3%, Europe is 7.7%, and Oceania is 0%; for Other, North America is 0.2%, Europe is 7.1%, and Oceania is 0.3%.

The diagram illustrates the root causes for agricultural area in three different parts of the world being ineffective.
As can be seen, Europe’s land is affected by almost every factors presented, while North America’s land is less deteriorated by these and Oceania shows the highest and lowest point of the reasons for the areas to get affected.
Now, turning to details, more than 10% of Oceania’s surface is degraded as the effect of over-grazing whereas over-cultivation has no role at this at all. Deforestation is one of the main cause for the land degradation in Europe which is almost 10%, followed by over-cultivation and other which account for almost 8%. Over-grazing is at 4th but still accounts for more than 5% which is the still the higest in every category compared to North America.
The effects on land due to overgrazing in North America is almost as same as deforestation in Oceania that is around 2%. A tiny fraction of North America’s land is degraded by deforestation and other factors showing that over-cultivation is the main cause for it that is around 3% of land.
