Overall, iOS App Store rose up as the most selling store for four years, (2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013), though the other two stores were going up as well. In 2014, Google Play Amazon exceeded the number of sold apps by iOS App Store, reaching 1300 thousand sold apps.

Furthermore, sold apps by App Store slightly went up during the period, starting from nearly 30 thousand to peak at 300 thousand by 2014. Whereas, the number of sold apps by Google Play Amazon was noticeably going up, starting from nearly 50 thousand sold apps to eventually reach its highest number which is 1300 thousand, by 2014.
