The bar graph illustrates the figure of households in the US with respect to their annual income in three years 2007, 2011 and 2015.
At a fleeting glance, it is clearly evident that for all three years, for the income range $50,000 – $99,999, the households remained stable. Furthermore, the fluctuations are evident in the number of households earning less than $25,000, $25,000-$49,999 and $100,000 and more.
In 2007, the number of households earning less than 28,000 income were at $ 25 million, which rose slightly, to just below 30 million by 2011, before it dropped to around 28 million by 2015. Similarly, the earnings from 25,000-
$49,999 stood around 27 million, which steeped to approximately 30 million in 2011 before it decreased to around 86 million by 2015.
On the other hand, people earning $100,000 or more began at approximately 30 million in 2007, decreased to around 27 million in 2011, which than significantly rose to almost 35 million in 2015. Moreover, households , earning $50,000 to $74,999 wages remained unchanged throughout the period of 2007 to 2015, while those earning $75,000 to $99,999 saw only slight changes.
