The bar chart illustrates the number of passengers commuting by public transport in a city during the period of 3 years from 2012 to 2015.

Overall, it is clear that the number of people using buses and trams increased while that of trains decreased over the given period. The number of passengers commuting by public transport in 2015 was the highest while that of 2013 was the lowest in comparison with the others.

Looking at the chart in more detail, the number of people commuting by train decreased significantly by 70,000 from 80,000 to 10 from 2012 to 2013, that in 2013 hit the lowest point. A significant increase of 53,000 from 10,000 to 63,000 was seen in the number of passengers using trains from 2013 to 2015.

There was a sharp growth of 75,000 from 20,000 to 95,000 in the number of people commuting by tram from 2012 to 2015.

The period from 2012 to 2013 saw a gradual decline of 15,000 from 55,000 to 40,000 in the number of people using bus that in 2014 rise steeply by 30,000 from 40,000 to 70,000
