Overall, number of tourists from Mexico presented noticeable increase, whilts tourists from France gently increased. In terms of spending, in both years UK dominated the highest amount of spending, whereas Mexico the smallest.
Regarding the number of tourists, in 2009 around 210,000 Mexicans travelled to Canada, but in 2019 number of tourists almost doubled reached to approximately 510,000 travellers. In 2009 France reported the highest number of visitors at 590,000 people, after ten year number of visitors to Canada from France slightly increased to 660,000 and loss placed second about number of visitors. In 2009 roughly 550,000 people visited to Canada from Uk, in 2019 UK had the highest number of visitors to Canada approximately 750,000.
In terms of average spending, although Mexicans spent less money than other countries, this figure showed the highest increase between 2009 and 2019, from 314 dollar to 602 dollar. In 2009 French tourists spent 604 dollars just under than the 612 dollars spent by British tourists. In 2019 tourists’ expenditure from UK and France dramatically surged, 857 dollars and 830 dollars respectively.
