The given bar chart illustrates the percentage of three different age groups of children in a country of Europe participated in four types of activities in 2009. Overall, it can be seen that 5-8 years old and 9-11 years old children mostly watched TV, while 12-15 years old children not only watch TV but also ride bikes in most cases.
First of all, the early school age group of children took part in watching TV, accounting for almost 100%, while the least participated in reading comics and playing video games, made up around 60%. In contrast, they are join to ride bikes slightly more, accounting for approximately 70%.
In terms of pre-teen group of children, they also took part mostly in watching television, accounting for around 75%, the same percent as teenagers. In addition, pre-teens group of children read comics in around 62%, meanwhile, only 55% participated in playing video games and in 57% in riding bikes.
In regarding for teenagers group, they are more participated in physical activity, such as riding bikes, made up around 77%, than in watching TV. Furthermore, that group of children participated in reading comics at the same percentage as pre-teen groups of children, while only 35% of them playing video games.
