In 2012, the largest donations were made for social welfare purposes. Charities in the fields of education and environmental protection were equal and reached 5 percent respectively. The lowest donations of all types of charity were donations to wildlife conservation and the arts.
A year later there were a few changes. Donations were made for social welfare decreased from around 22 percent to 16 percent. Spendings for education and environment also decreased from about 7 percent to 6 and 5 percent respectively, while healthcare and wildlife protection saw a slow increase and arts charities remained stable. By 2014, the volume of all types of donations had increased.
