Overall, a significant number of both players and viewers were in basketball while a similar percentage of players were in tennis and golf. Nevertheless, the proportion of spectators in tennis was six times that of golf.
Women showed more interest in watching games than participating except in badminton and golf. Accordingly, 60% of women watched tennis which was the highest among all the games. However, basketball was the only sport which was consisted of more than 50% of preferences for both activities. On the other hand, both watching and participation in horse riding was the least among all, at less than 10%.
Women’s enrollment in badminton and golf, outnumbered watching, at around 10% and 30%, respectively. Moreover, the participators in golf were three times that of watchers. In addition, spectators in gymnastics was 20% which was double of golf.
