Overall, figures of all countries showed significant growth, and the figure of the UK was the highest all the time, whereas that of Spain remained last place between 1999 and 2009. Thus, from this chart, internet accessibility had been increased rapidly around europe countries.
In detail, the percentage of the UK always constituted highest which increased from 20% to 90%, in 1999 and 2009 respectively. Especially, this increased rapidly between 2002 and 2004 compared to others which increased from 50% to 70%. Moreover, the second highest figure was Germany climbing from 13% to slightly over 80% in 1999 and 2009.
Moreover, the similar trends were found in the figures for France and Spain. The percentage of France was slightly below that of Germany which represented their growth from 10% to 80%. Spain also increased from 5% to 75% between 1999 and 2000.
