The chart illustrates the proportion of households in different four countries:Japan,USA,UK,and Australia between three different decades:2000,2010,2020.
Overall,the USA showed a significant increase with high numbers while Japan remained the least but increased slightly through the shown period. all the countries showed a growth.
In 2000,the percentage of Australian households with cars were close to 75%,dipped slightly in 2010 reaching 70%,and edged up in 2020 to approximately 80%.On the other hand,the USA showed the highest increase with more than 80% of American households owning cars .Furthermore,It jumped slightly through the three decades.
Japan and the UK were slightly similar. Japan was the least percentage of population owning cars in the 2000 with 55%.Furthermore,in 2010 and 2020 it jumped gradually to up to 65%.Nevertheless,the UK experienced a modest rise throughout the period.The percentage of English people owning cars was between 65 to 75 percent
