Overall, people who rented an apartment are more than people who have their own house in the year 1918 until it was overtaken by 1981 up to 2011.
In 1918, 80% of indivuals rent for their home while only 20% have their own. The trend continously to be the same with only a slight decrease of 10% in the years 1939 and 1953. However, in 1971 the percentage people who either pay or owner of house became equal at 50%. Subsequently in the coming years, homeowners experience an increase in number more than individuals who pay for rent. In 2001, it reached a peak of 70% compare to 30% of households who rent accommodation. Finally, in 2011 individuals with own house settled at 65% in stark contrast of those who pays at 35%.
