The data presents the percentage of accomodations is owned and rented in two distinct countries of United Kingdom from 1918 and 2011.
Overall, the numbers in renting reached its peak in the start of the recorded period, whereas ,the amount of owned households dropped dramatically , representing the lowest value throughout the period of time given. In 2001, there was a significant decline in rented households. Meanwhile, home ownership was peaking and showing its highest value in the same year.
In 1918, the percentage for rented accomodations in England and Wales experienced significant decrease at over 20%.However, it had a slight increase over 82-year period, between 1918 and 2001, from 20% to under 80% approximately . In 2011 , the amount of rented households dropped back to just over 60%.
In contrast, numbers in owned households was declining dramatically, from 1918 to 2001 : starting the period of time given with under 80 % and ending it with just over 20%.Whereas,in 2011,the percentage for home ownership had a slight increase nearly to 40%.
