The rendered line graph compares the percentage of houses that were accompanied by electronic appliances from the year 1995 to 2015. The comparison is made among four gadgets and the time is calculated with an interval of five years.
Overall, the number of people using mobile phones, tablets and computers dramatically rose over the years whereas the percentage of families using tablets showed a very steady growth.
A glance at the line graph makes it clear that there was a substantial increase in the use of mobile phones from 80% to 100% by the year 2015. Similarly, the number of people utilising computers surged to a high of 100% from 5% by the end of year 2015.
Further analysing the line graph, a distinct trend was witnessed for the people who used tablets as many households started using tablets after the year 2000 which was nearly 10% and then it rocketed to a high of approximately 85% by the year 2015. On the contrary, the percentage of residents using MP3 player showed a steady increase which was around 15% in the year 1995, climbed to almost 35% in the year 2010 and then gradually leaped to 40% by the year 2015.
