The chart below provides information about gender percentage of teachers in the UK at miscellanious educational sections in 2010/

Firstly, in nursery/pre-school and primary school the percentage of women and men accounted almost the same. Percentage of women in nursery/pre-school recorded 90%. However men amounted only 4%. The percentages of primary school differs a little. THe percentage of women reached approximately 87% and men just 6%. In the college, women and men had the same percentage. Nevertheless, in private training institute and university the women’s percentage began to dramatically decline. The rates of men amounted 58% and 75% respectively. However women’s percentage reduce to 42% and 30%.

Overall, all the educational settings had different pecentage of male and female teachers. In the first two sections women were on the top. However at the last two sections tge percentage had plummet. And only in college section the gender percentage were the same.
