According to the data given bar chart, the highest proportion of Austrailan migrating was recorded in 1987 at around 34% but afterward, this figure slightly declined to 25% in 1997. Meanwhile, the lowest proportion of Australian migration was recorded at North, South America and this figure stood at 5% in 1997 but it was remained at 6% in 1987. In contrast, migration trend to Cceania, Northeast Asia, Middle East and North Africa showed an increasing trend in 1997, these figures stood at about 24%,24%, and 22% respectively. However, people migration in both rest of Asia, and North South America showed a decline pattern in 1997 and these figures stood at 16% and 4% respectively.
