Overall, the population showed a sharp increase for the majority of the regions, with the exception of Oceania being the only area that has relatively stable growth. The most notable rise was found in the Africa and Asia regions, which contributed to the world population dramatic rise.

The data showed the population had increased around 20% between the year 1975 to 2020, and expected to have another 20% rise in 2050. Oceania was the only area that experienced a slight drop from 1975 to 2020. However, the modest fall has prospect to climb up surpassing 70% in 2025.
