The chart showcases usage of water in percentage in industries, agriculture and households for six regions of the world.
According to the chart, North America uses almost half of its water for industrial purpose which is 48% while Europe uses more than half in industries that is 53%. Both of their water usage for domestic purpose are approximately same. North America uses 13% and Europe uses 15%.
On the other hand, South America, Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia utilize most of its water in agriculture sector. Though Central Asia is leading in this case with 88%, South East Asia matches the number with 7% in case of domestic use. The utilization of water by South America is 19% for domestics, 10% for industries and 71% in agriculture.
To sum up, North America and Europe utilize more water for industrial purpose and South America, Africa, Central Asia, South East Asia use more water in agricultural sector.
