Overall, the information and communications industry has the highest number of purchases made, whereas the construction sector has the lowest among the business categories.
To commence with, the manufacturing was the one with the most fluctuations, starting from 30% in 2015 and inclining to 50%, then dipping again at 43% and reaching approximately 60% in 2019. Interestingly, information and communications was the only area with the highest percentage; even after facing ups and downs, it remained at the top and hovered between 60% and 75%.
However, the construction noticed a gradual increase in spending each year, from 20% in 2015 to 30% in 2016, which climbed to 60% in 2019. Subsequently, a similar trend was seen in the wholesale industry, from 40% in 2015 to 55% in 2019. While, in the retail , initial purchases were low at 30% in 2015, which spiked around 50% in 2018 and took a slight fall in 2019.
