The bar chart illustrates the results of survey in a European country regarding young people’s expectations for change in five distinct areas of life in the next 20 years.
Overall, it is clear that communication between people will be improved, while other areas are expected to worsen. Notably, quality of air in cities will get worse compared to the other areas of life.
Communication between people is anticipated to improve to 54%, while 46% of this figure is planing to worsen. By comparison, the percentage of quality of food is projected to worsen by nearly a half (51%), and will be improved by 49% in the next 20 years.
Regarding other categories, quality of water and health are projected to show similar patterns. The former will be improved to 40% and got worse to 60%, whilst the latter is anticipated to improve by 42% and will be got worse to 58% of the total. By contrast, quality of air in cities is expected to got worse by 77%, which will be the highest percentage. Then, this figure is anticipated to improved by 23% of people’s expectations.
