Overall, it can be seen that the amount of money spending on three products food, smartphones and toiletries registered an increase, while the tendency of both books and clothes either decreased of stablized.
It is noticeable that the consumption of food was the highest compared to the other offerings in 2010 and 2014. In 2010, the adolescence spent around 3.7 million on food before its climbed to under 4.5 million afterward in 2014. In constrast, books consumed the smallest in five different products. It was about 1 million initially and then decreased a half in 2014.
There was a significant amount of spending used for clothes, smartphones and toiletries. Around 2.5 million was spent on clothes and remained the same level from 2010 to 2014 whereas the spending on toiletries and smartphones were similarly at 2 million then stablized and increased to 2.75 million USD, respectively.
