The line graph provides information about the time spent by Denmark residents on different types of telephone calls between 1995 and 2004. Units are measured in millions of minutes.
It is clear that the total volume had increased by the middle period when national landline became insignificant compared to mobile.
National landline was the most used type of call in Denmark at 12 million, and it continued in this leading category by peaking to around 15 million by 2001. Despite this upward trend, it experienced a sharp drop to nearly 9 million at the end of the timeframe.
The figure for mobile commenced at just fewer than one million, but it surpassed national landline, reaching close to 12 million over the period. This growth particularly accelerated after 2000, when mobile call use accounted for about 3 million.
International landline showed a steady increase from roughly 6 to 7 million, although it remained at the bottom, lagging behind its counterparts.
