Overall, the petroleum products and engineered goods remained the most valued, while the agricultural products and textiles were the least valued. Although, textiles were the least valued, but experienced a steep increase for the value. Gems and jewellery recorded a downfall.
Petroleum products and engineered goods were the most valued products. Petroleum started at 61 billion dollars in 2015 and later reached 64 billion dollars in 2016, with a 3% increase in the value. Engineered goods stood at 57 billion dollars in 2015 and climbed to 62 billion dollars, with 8.5% rise in the value.
For agricultural products, earnings in 2015 were slightly above 30 billion dollars and in 2016 slightly below 34 billion dollars, with a 0.18% increase. Textiles were slightly above 25 billion dollars in 2015 and in 2016 slightly above 30 billion dollars, with a sharp 15.24% increase.
Gems and jewellery recorded a downfall in the value. Gems and jewellery started at 43 billion dollars in 2015 but declined to approximate 41 billion dollars, with 5.18% decrease.
