The bar chart compares the figures of annual export incomes in five categories of products from 2015 to 2016 and the table below demonstrates the change between the two years in percentages. Overall, petroleum and engineered goods were the highest in sales. All groups experienced an increase over the year except for gems and jewellery.
In detail, according to the chart and table, initially in 2015, petroleum products earned as much as 60 billion dollars before reaching approximately 62 billion dollars in 2016 which was 3% larger than the previous year. Followed by engineered goods, starting at around 57 billion dollars, it rose to just above 60 billion dollars at the end of the period. It can be seen in the table that the volume of this product improved by 8.5%.
The three remaining categories were significantly lower in totals, gems and jewellery began at 43 billion dollars then declined to about 40 billion dollars at the end of the period. Next, the number of sales of agricultural products was 30 billion dollars at the beginning and ended almost the same, increasing only 0.81%, which was the lowest change. Conversely, textiles differed the most in percentage at 15.24%, while started at 26 billion dollars in 2015, this products gained 30 billion dollars at the end of the chart.
