An initial glance at the bar chart and table provided reveals the alteration of the export revenues in a specific region during the year from 2015 to 2016. It is evident that the country mainly exported petroleum and engineered relevant products, illustrating a huge disparity from the remaining categories.
Exhibiting a slight increase from 2015 to 2016, the export income contributed from petroleum products climbed 3%, compared to a much more notable escalation of 8.5% offered by engineered goods. In addition, it can be observed that petroleum and engineered goods maintained their predominant position in the five different products in both 2015 and 2016, with approximately 60 billion dollars.
Moving to the details of the other three genres, textiles soared remarkably in the span of 2015 and 2016, at about 15%, while it still represents the least export revenues among all the products in the country. In contrast, an apparent decrease of the export earnings from gems and jewelry can be seen, with around 5%, whereas it is still ranked at the third place. As for the export incomes from agricultural products, demonstrating merely 1% of negligible fluctuation, is at the same level as textiles in 2016, at about 30 billion dollars.
