Overall, it can be clearly seen that all of the various categories increased, except gems and jewelry, which decreased. Petroleum products and engineered goods were the highest, while textiles export earnings accounted for the lowest, but it skyrocketed.
In terms of various categories, earnings from petroleum products increased from $60 billion in 2015 to over $60 billion in 2016, which rose by 3%, while engineered goods earnings increased 8.5% from $55 billion in 2015 to $60 billion in 2016.
On the other hand, the percentage of gems and jewelry in 2016 declined 5.18% from 2015 which was reduced from over $40 billion to around $40 billion, while agricultural products increased only 0.81%, which was upward from $30 billion to over $30 billion. In 2016 textiles rocketed 15.24% from 2015, surging from $25 billion to $30 billion.
